10-11 Early Bird pricing held over!
Jobsite Theater is holding over their Early Bird pricing on their 2010-11 season through Sat., July 31. Early Bird pricing on season tickets was originally set to expire Fri., July 9.
Though frankly not unusual to hold over a special offer, Jobsite is extending the offer much deeper into the summer than in years past. Jobsite Producing Artistic Director David Jenkins offers that "We're extremely proud of this upcoming season, and know that we have a real opportunity now to increase our season ticket base with the strength of titles such as The Odd Couple and Taming of the Shrew alongside adaptations of popular novels like Einstein's Dreams and Mindgame and newer award-winning plays like Yellowman and reasons to be pretty. We want to give people as much time as possible to respond to this offer. Summers can be hard, a lot of people are vacationing or concentrating on a lot of other things in June and July. We make theater to be seen, and we're trying to make every effort to have it seen by as many people as possible."
Along those same lines, this upcoming 2010-11 season features tickets that have not gone up in price for the fourth straight year. "It's difficult, with money disappearing for not-for-profits from government, business and private sources, and the rising costs of just about everything to not respond by raising your prices. We know how hard it is though for most people right now, and we'd rather do more with less and have more butts in seats for the time being and cross our fingers that when the economy gets better that people will remember that," Jenkins adds.
The Early Bird price on season tickets is $102.90 per person, plus a $10 handling fee per order (whether you buy one season ticket or 100). For two people, it works out to less than $18 per person per show, inclusive of all fees - a great bargain. For fans that regularly attend Jobsite performances, it's almost the same as seeing two plays for free over the course of the year. As of Aug. 1, the price changes to the standard $117.60 per person.
Season ticket holders enjoy numerous benefits like a flexible exchange policy, discounts on additional tickets, guaranteed seating and free entry into all Job-side productions and staged readings.
The offer will not be held over past July 31. Season tickets will be on sale through all performances of Dog Sees God at the standard rate ($117.60), not the Early Bird rate ($102.90). To order or learn more about season tickets, visit Jobsite's website or call 813.229.7827.
