Jobsite set for a play reading series
Jobsite Theater will be offering a series of staged readings of new plays in the Shimberg Playhouse on select Monday nights during the run of their mainstage shows. All staged readings will be under the direction of Ensemble Member Lori Shannon, who has assistant directed many shows over the years for Jobsite including The Goat, Eleemosynary, Boston Marriage and Blackbird. Here's our current schedule:
Nov.10 2008: The Ballad of Johnny 5 Star by David Hauptschein and David Vlcek
Jan.19, 2009: Two Gentlemen of Corona by Jim Geoghan
Feb. 23 2009: Magenta Sunsets and Brown Silk by P.J. Gibson
April 6 2009: Hugging the Shoulder by Jerrod Bogard
All readings will take place at 7:30pm. There is a $5 donation at the door for entry, but these are free to current Jobsite ensemble members and to season ticket holders.
Mark your calendars!
